Hello everyone,

Today I have bought a book of Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451". While I was going home I thought: How to pronounce its title correct?

1) Four hundred fifty one degrees of Fahrenheit
2) Four fifty one degrees of Fahrenheit.

Or maybe something else.

Thanks in advance,
Nickle.

To me it's Fahrenheit four five one.

I agree with 5jj. I would pronounce each number.

Or "four fifty-one."

Note that when talking about temperatures, you don't say "degrees of Fahrenheit." It's just "degrees Fahrenheit." Or "degrees F."

I've always referred to this book as Fahrenheit Four Fifty-One.

I've always referrred to it as Farenheit four five one.

I've always referred to it as "Fahrenheit four five one". I have never read it, nor have I ever seen a copy, but there is a reference to it in Footloose (one of my favourite films) and in that, they said the title as I now say it. That's where I got the construction from.

This trailer for the movie itself says 4 5 1.
