What does " Fancy a dip" means?
Thank you.

'Do you want to come(/go?) for a swim ...[and often there's an implied "...which will only be quite short"]?'

Of course, context can change everything. A person who says 'Fancy a dip?' in a delicatessen might mean 'Would you like to buy some houmous or taramasalata?'. But that expression usually applies to swimming.

Mmmm, houmous! :-D I agree, although if I were in the deli I would be more inclined to say "Fancy some dip?" or "Do you fancy dip and nachos tonight?"
This thread is now making me hungry!
