Hello,

How can undestand the phrase: "Do you fancy coming along?"

The sentence is: "I'm going to the gig in the park tonight - do you fancy coming along?"

They want to ask if the person is happy to come with the speaker? Or they want to ask if the person generally goes to the gig?

Denis.

Do you fancy coming along - he is asking his friend if he would like to go to the gig with him.

"I'm going to the gig in the park tonight - would you like to join me?"
