Does that sentence make sense? Is it natural?

I'd use 'a small number of books' instead of 'few books'. To me 'the number five hundred is too big for 'few'.

How about "a smaller number" of books?
Or "I don't as many books as you have"?

Perhaps:

I have 500 books, which means I have only a few books compared to how many you have.

Maybe the other person has 5000 books. In that case, you only have a few, by comparison.

You could also say:

I have a smaller number of books than you do.

Or:

I have fewer books than you do.
