Can you fill the gab in the following sentence: " my sister received a special gift from her fiance. In a small party, in a unique resturant he gave her the engagement ring. She felt extreme happiness and ___________ in unbelieveable way!"?

Can you fill in the blank?

My sister received a special gift from her fiance. In a small party, in a unique resturant he gave her the engagement ring. She felt extreme happiness and ___________ in an unbelieveable way!"

Who gave you this assignment?

Who gave you this assignment?

Look. It is not an assignment. I make personal effort to improve writing and speaking in english. So I wrote this sentence. However, I cant find the exact word to fill in the gap so I need help. Thats all!

I don't think there is a word that would fit. I would silmply say:

She was very happy.

Fill in the gap.

What about exhilarated/thrilled/blown away?

Attached to the ring? It is better that she be attached to her fiance.

You wrote a sentence with a missing word and you're asking us what you mean. That's an odd request. How can we know?

I suppose you have an Arabic word in mind. Is it a verb or noun or something else?

It's an odd way of improving your English.

I suggest you write a complete sentence and ask us if it's correct.

I think you might want to go easy on the vocabulary- you're trying to load up your sentence with too many words are not always using them accurately- what, for example do you mean by a unique restaurant? A special one?

Hello Rabab, and welcome to the forum. :)

Can you fill the gab[SUP](1)[/SUP] in the following sentence? " my sister received a special gift from her fiance. In a small party [STRIKE]in[/STRIKE] at a [STRIKE]unique[/STRIKE] special restaurant, he gave her the[SUP](2)[/SUP] engagement ring. She felt extremely happy [STRIKE]iness[/STRIKE] and lucky. [STRIKE] ___________ in unbelievable way!"?[/STRIKE]

Note:
1- The word you want there is "gap"; "gab" is also a word in English, but it has a completely different meaning. www.onelook.com
Practise listening to and pronouncing "p" and "b".

2- If she knew about the ring, then "the" is okay; otherwise, use "an" instead of "the".

3- The last bit "in an unbelievable way" seems too strong, and I don't think it really fits in with the rest of that sentence.

Fill in the gap.

What about exhilarated/thrilled/blown away?

Those are all good by themselves. But you "have" to follow them with "in an unbelievable way". :-?
