Hello everybody!

I have some doubts about using singular or plural form of the word fire.

Can it be pluralized? If yes, when and where?

What about the following sentence? Is it correct to pluralize fire in the following sentence?

When we are hopeless, we make our life
hell and not only do we burn in it but also
its fires bring suffering and pain to our
loved ones.

Thanks in advance

Yes, of course it can be plural. One fire, two fires.
