flat out/in a faint

A certain guy kissed a woman.

And then, reporting this to her friend she said :
(I) Fell down, flat out, in a faint, for the one and only time in my life, so
far. They had to give me brandy.’

Does "flat out" mean "quickly"? Or maybe it just means that she fell flat on the floor?

Does "in a faint" just mean that she "fainted"? Fell down flat on the floor and fainted?

In your example, "flat out" = totally/completely
"In a faint"; yes, fainted
