Can the answer "for me neither" in the following dialog

- I won't be able to make it, besides Monday evenings is not a good time for me.
- Well, for me neither.

be replaced with "neither for me".

Is this a mistake? Is it a serious mistake? (I used it and I was instantly corrected by a native English speaker).

Thank you

Welcome to the forum, falingo,:hi: and congratulations on giving your question a great title. Some seasoned posters have yet to get the hang of this.

I'd say 'It's not a good time for me either'

Rover.

But if I wanted to avoid repeating 'It's not a good time..' and instead, give a short answer, could it be for me neither or neither for me?

"For me neither" or "Nor for me". You'll also hear "Me neither" and "Nor me".
