Hi,

Question:

Is the sentence structure correct?
For those who....., I...........

Sentence:

I helped lots of people in the party.
For those who needed food, I gave them some food.
For those who felt cold, I gave them a? clothes.
For those who were thirsty, I gave them [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE]? (some) drinks.

Thanks

For those who needed food, I gave them foods.
For those who felt cold, I gave them clothes.
For those who were thirsty, I gave them drinks.

"Some" instead of "for those who" sounds better to me.

Hi,

Question:

Is the sentence structure correct?
For those who....., I...........

Sentence:

I helped lots of people in the party.
For those who needed food, I gave them some food.
For those who felt cold, I gave them a clothes.
For those who were thirsty, I gave them a drink.

Thanks

To those who needed food, I gave food.
To those who were cold, I gave clothes.
To those who were thirsty, I gave drinks.

If you turn the sentences around you will realise why you would use "to" not "for".

I gave food to those who needed it.
I gave clothes to those who were cold.
I gave drinks to those who were thirsty.

With the third one, "drinks" is better than "a drink" because you are unlikely to have given one single drink to a group of people.
