Dear friends,

What word do you use when speaking about getting something without making too much effort?
Are the words "freebie" and "freeload" the only ones possible or are there any other words as well?

E.g.
1. We didn't pay anything to get those books. They were given to us for free at the festival and so it was a freebie.
2. We got the highest mark in the exam as a freebie because our teacher asked us very little regarding the subject.
3. I like different receptions because there I can freeload food and drink.

1. Normally we would say something was free or a freebie, but not both in the same sentence. If we were going to use them both it be something like, "We got them at the festival for free. They were freebies "
2. The way that one is worded it makes it seem like some got different questions than the others.
3. I would say I got free food at those places.

Getting something without much effort cannot be considered a freebie. You can say it's easy to get.
