Hi.

Can we say 'You are not from us.' instead of 'You are not one of us.' to mean that you are not considered to be a member of our group?

I think I may be thinking in my native language. :oops:

Note that the full stop inside both sets of quotation marks is wrong. We don't use a full stop there if the main sentence carries on after the closing quotation marks.
