Can lift/elevator be counted in GADGETS? Is a lift/elevator a kind of gadgets?according to the textbook. It's a kind of gadgets. A gadget is a small machine or device. But a lift is not small.
 
Can a lift/elevator be considered a gadget? No, I would call it a machine .
