We normally capitalize the noun "Milky Way" even when it appears in the middle of a sentence. But how should we write it when we add the word "galaxy" to it while writing it in the middle of the statement? I have come across both "the Milky Way galaxy" and "the Milky Way Galaxy".
Let me paste some of the statements from the internet below.
Milky Way galaxy
Yesterday's chart showed the part of our Milky Way galaxy that stretches overhead in the evening.
New clews of understanding the history of Milky Way galaxy can be offered by analylizing the data above.
Milky Way Galaxy
Our magnificent Milky Way Galaxy sprawls across this ambitious all - sky panorama.
In the disk of our Milky Way Galaxy about 10 percent of visible matter is in the form of gas, called the interstellar medium (ISM).
