Hi

Why do they call that colour Georgian green?

I can't say that I've ever heard of the colour "Georgian Green" but I would imagine that it is a specific shade of green which was used a lot during the Georgian period in the UK. This covers the reigns of Kings George I, II, III and IV between 1714 and 1830.

If that's not the explanation, then perhaps there is an artist or designer on here who recognises the term.
