Hello, teachers. Does the definite article sound idiomatic to native speakers in such a sentence? It seems it's usually used with no article.
 
The article is unusual there, but doesn't interfere at all with understandability. I'd say it's just a harmless idiosyncrasy of that speaker, Jimmy Dore.
