It comes to me two possibilities of translation of the following idea without using "if":

"Had it been so..." or rather "had been so..." then it would... and so on. Which one is correct?

Should it be so... Should have it been

"So" is for "in this way", "like this"

In both cases, Is "It" required?

Had it been seems to express "just in case it would have been a fact...

Should it be seems to express "just in case that was a possibility...

Am I right?

Which one is suitable?

Thanks
