I feel bother between when i use "have been + v1" and "have been + v1 + ing" could you please explain

I feel bother have trouble deciding between when whether I should use "have been + v1" and or "have been + v1 + ing". Could you please explain?
Please note my corrections above. You must always capitalise the word "I" (first person singular pronoun), start every sentence with a capital letter and end every sentence with an appropriate closing punctuation mark.

You need to give us a few example sentences in which you don't know which to use.
