Which one is correct and if both are correct and what is difference between two sentence.

" I have not selected that profile picture for my account . Website has selected that one for me by default."
" I didn't select that profile picture for my account. Website has selected that one for me by-default."

Which one is correct and, if both are correct, [STRIKE]and[/STRIKE] what is the difference between [STRIKE]two sentence[/STRIKE] them?

" I have not selected that profile picture for my account . Website has selected that one for me by default."
" I didn't select that profile picture for my account. Website has selected that one for me by-default."

"I have not" isn't necessary.
"I didn't select" is fine but the second half should just be "The website selected that one ...", there is no need for the present perfect, nor do you need "by default".

I didn't select that profile picture for my account. The website selected it for me.

Could you please elaborate this point

""I have not" isn't necessary."

Thanks for reply.
