Tufguy, I think you left out a verb in one of the sentences. (I am not certain. I am depending on my memory.)

These are sentence fragments, not sentences.

Parts of speech are the different kinds of words that make up a language. The simplest sentences normally require a subject and a verb: The dog [subject] barks [verb]. The sentence fragments above both lack a main verb; they are noun phrases which could serve as subjects. For example, The post that he holds at his work place is temporary.

We tend to work in a post/job/position.

You've corrected the sentence fragment. If you use the preposition ems suggests, the sentence will be correct.

Note the correct use of quotation marks to indicate quoted text.
