Are these sentences correct:

1-I have never heard anyone learn a language in three days.
2-I have never heard anyone learning a language in three days.


3-I have never heard John do something extraordinary.
4-I have never heard John doing something extraordinary.
(I have never heard an account of John doing something extraordinary.)
 
heard = sounds
heard of = ideas (whether attained through hearing or not)

I've never heard him singing (or: sing). (I've never heard his voice in a song.)
I've never heard of him singing. (No one has ever mentioned the idea of him singing.)
