I think both A and C are correct. But it just requirs one answer.

I would choose A, but someone told me I should choose B. I'm not sure.

I think both A and D are correct. But It also requirs one answer

Only A is correct.
You can't imagine something (gerund).

You say talk on a subject though 'talk about a subject' is not wrong.
