Hello.

Is my sentence correct? Can I use ''I help them in their search for a psychologist'' instead of ''I can help them.''

I communicate with people from different countries and find what they need, for example, a psychologist, doctor or teacher and if they need a doctor, I can help them.

Yes.

If you mean the following, then no:

I communicate with people from different countries and find what they need, for example, a psychologist, doctor or teacher and if they need a doctor, I help them in their search for a psychologist.

Why is it wrong if I am talking about helping people to find a particular specialist?

If they need a doctor, they won't thank you for finding them a psychologist.
