The word count in this sentence. Does it means add (sum) or count it by saying it

A english teacher once told me using the English language and grammer it means add number , what do you say means?

Revelation 13:18
[18]Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Does have sentemce structure , have a subject, predicate , verb etc.etc.
What is meaning of word count ?

it takes wisdom and understanding of English language to know what saying to add up or say 666

I don't understand the meaning of the word "count" in this sentence.
Always write full sentences. Mark out the word you're asking us about in some way. I've used quotation marks above.

You must always cite the source of any text you quote.

I don't know what you mean by the underlined part.

Note the correct way to ask this question.

None of that section makes sense. Please explain it in a different way.

it takes wisdom and I need a better understanding of the English language to know what saying whether it means "to add up" or "say 666".
That is true. However, we need a better understanding of what you're asking before we can answer your question.

What definition is used with word count in the paragraph ?

To calculate

To count "6 6 6 " you would say "six, six, six," meaning you are counting the number six three times, resulting in a total of eighteen(6 + 6+ 6= 18).

See transitive verb definition #1a, but in a deeper sense it's also referring to transitive verb definition 2a.

Essentially it's saying "if you know your numbers, look at the number of the beast and recognize it for what it is". At the time Revelations was written, not everyone was literate or had a understand of how to tabulate numbers.

You might want to compare some different translations of the Bible as well, particularly ones that are written in more modern English.
