Abstract
This work is an approach to help and host school newcomers through the education system. For that reason, we present a new tool for families and students who have a late entry in a secondary school. For thus, this tool pretends to respond students and their families about their knowledge of the education system, resources and responses.
In this way, we propose for their welcome a series of actions performed by school professionals to promote the inclusion of newcomer in class and school. In addition, this tool would improve family involvement in relation to the learning of their children.
Another key role in this study, is the development of a welcome guide, providing information useful for the family, such as, aspects of the Spanish state education system. This guide, also provide different guidelines and recommendations of multiple resources that can be beneficial for all of them.
For all that reasons, this work should be recommended to maintain an active communication and promote the integration of the student and its family in the new context.
Finally, this tool aims to respond to those students, which have been living in our country for a long time but has not been fully integrated yet into the school.
