Do we use the structure "help yourself at home" in English?
My English teacher said that this sentence was very common in spoken English but I don't think so. Could you please help me figure out the answer?
Thanks in advance!

It's not a common phrase to me. What did your teacher mean by it? That you should practice at home in order to help your progress?

Yes.My teacher meant 'make yourself at home". That's why don't agree with her.

"Help yourself" and "Make yourself at home" are two very common AmE expressions, and have a similar meaning, but "Help yourself at home" is definintely not.
