Does "macho self-righteousness" work as a collocation?

Is this okay?

His macho self-righteousness is sickening. He's impervious to self-doubt and he's alien to the concept that his nonsensical views about life and women's rights may be distorted.

I wouldn't think those words could go together, but they seem to be okay there. Having said that, I would use "smug" or "arrogant" to go with that term.

What about the rest of it?

It's okay, but you might consider:

He thinks he's perfect and never doubts himself.

Whose views are nonsensical can, of course, be rather subjective.
