1. What is the weather like in Korea?

2. How is the weather like in Korea?

3. What is the weather in Korea?

4. How is the weather in Korea?

I wonder if 3 and 4 are also grammatical.

Thank you.

I was taught that, when asking for description, both senteces below are ok. Please tell me if I was taught wrong.

- what's you sister like?

- How's your sister like? (If someone just asks me How's your sister? I will probably reply "she's fine, thanks", that's why the "like" stands for description)

Thanks.

"How's your sister like?" is wrong.

 thanks bhaisahab. I fell horrible, because last week I taught that to my students. (But it's not my fault, I was taught this way too). I'll see what I can do to amend it.
