How "do" or "did" you find London? It means we are asking someone what their views are on London and whether they think its a good place or not. Am I correct?

Please check my sentences.

I think both are possible depending on context.

Without expanded context, "do" suggests that the listener/reader is currently in London and "did" that the person has returned. But your interpretation is correct.

You could also say:

What do you think about London?

That would be appropriate whether the person was there or not.

It's probably asking about more than just a person's views.

It is likely to be a way of asking for a comment on the person's experience of London (probably of the experience of being in London). It's similar to asking what impression London has made on the person.

How do you find London? Visitor is still in London.

How did you find London? Visitor is about to or has already left London.
