Last night I met a guy at an English club. Later, while I was chatting with him, he told me and other listeners he could speak many different languages — and yes, he did demonstrate a few. But since 'speaking' a language doesn't necessarily mean you're fluent in it, I asked him:

How many languages are you fluent at?

Is my quesiton natural?

Note my changes above.

It's interesting that you correctly said "doesn't necessarily mean you're fluent in it" but then wanted to change "in" to "at".

Since I know he can speak many languages, is it better to say "Are you fluent in all of the languages you can speak?"

That's OK. However, you need to understand that when we say someone speaks a language, we generally mean they can communicate well in that language, speak and understand it enough for general conversation, watching TV, reading a paper etc. I'm not sure why it's important to you whether they're 100% fluent or not.

I'd probably be more inclined to say something like "Are you fluent in any of the languages you can speak a bit of?"
