Hello.

This question is from the book English File. "How many/much fruit do you eat a day?". As it says "fruit" I used "much". Is my answer correct? When "fruits" are used in the plural they are used as countable, aren't they?

Yes, how much is correct in your question because fruit is uncountable.

The plural form of the noun, which is countable, has an 's' at the end.

Also, bear in mind that "much" is used in the interrogative and the negative, but not in positive statements.

How much fruit do you eat? :tick:
I don't eat much fruit. :tick:
I eat much fruit. :cross:
I eat a lot of fruit. :tick:
