Hello,

Example:
There are currently 2 plants, I emailed John to remove 1 plant, John he replied to me he needs some time (maybe some days or months) to remove 1 plant.

I want to email John again to ask some questions and also tell John to email me to tell me when he has removed 1 plant, how to write appropriately?
I mean I expect John to reply me one email on the normal questions within a few days and then after the 1 plant is removed to reply me another email (this could be a few weeks later) to tell me the 1 plant has been remove, and not wait until the 1 plant is removed then answer all questions. I do not want John to mistaken that I only want a reply after the 1 plant is removed.

Example I mean something like:
Hello John,

Q1. What ...

Q2. How ...

Please email me again when you have removed 1 plant.

Best Regards,
Peter

Thanks

What sort of plants are you talking about?

There are currently two plants. (Presumably, John knows where they are and what they are.) You asked John (by email) to remove one of them. John replied that it will take him a matter of days or even weeks. (To remove a plant?)

I might say:

John, please send me an email, and tell me when you have removed the plant.

Unfortunately, your explanation is unnecessarily complicated. In short, I'm not sure what you mean to say. Simplify!

It doesn't take days or weeks to send an email.

There is more than one definition of the word "plant". Which one do you mean?

I am just writing an example. You can think of it like a big plant like the size of a tree https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree or you can imagine an object that takes a long time to remove.

Example I mean if I write an email something like:
~~~
Hello John,
Q1. What is your solution to solve the problem of the tree blocking the way?
Q2. How long do you need to take to remove the tree?
Please email me again when your there is only 1 tree left.
Best Regards,
Peter
~~~

"Please email me again when your there is only 1 tree left." I do not want John to be mistaken that I only want a reply after there is only 1 tree left. I mean I want Q1 and Q2 answered normally in a first email in a few days, and after there is only 1 tree left email me again in a second email.
For example if John takes 4 weeks to remove the tree then 4 weeks later he reply me in the second email to tell me that there is only 1 tree left. (so I know the problem is solved)

Why are you asking for the solution when you already know and have decided what it is?

I'd say "keep me informed of the progress of the tree removal'.

Do you write numbers less than ten in numerals.

OK, we'll go with the botanical meaning of "plant". I wasn't sure if you mean an industrial plant (like a factory).
For example, I mean if I might write an email something like the following:

Hello Dear John,

Q1. What is your solution to solve the problem of the tree blocking the way? (See comment below)
Q2. How long do you need to take to remove the tree?

Please email me again when your there is only 1 one tree left.

Best Regards,
Peter
Note my corrections above.
Question 1 is redundant because question 2 makes it clear that you and John have already agreed that removal of the tree is the solution to the tree that's blocking the way.
"Please email me again when your there is only 1 one tree left." I do not want John to be mistakenly think that I only want a reply only after there is only 1 one tree left.
Note my corrections above.
I mean I want Q1 and Q2 answered normally in a him to answer my two questions first by email in a few days, and after there is only 1 tree left email me again once just one tree is left. in a second email.
Note my corrections above.
For example, if it John takes 4 four weeks to remove the tree, then 4 four weeks later after he starts the job, he will reply send me in the a second email to tell me that there is only 1 one tree left no full stop here (so I know the problem is solved).
Note my corrections above.

I have some comments/observations.
1. If John is removing one tree and you want an email when there is one tree left standing, clearly you have just two trees.
2. The opening of this message is far too abrupt. We simply wouldn't address people with "Dear XXX" and then go straight into questions.
3. We write ordinal numbers between zero and twenty as words when they're used in their standard way (ie before a noun). There are exceptions but all of yours should have been written in words.

Here's what I might expect to see in such a situation (I've assumed there's a tree on either side of your main gate, one of which is blocking access, but you haven't yet agreed that removal is the solution).

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Dear John

Further to our phone conversation last week about the two trees on my property, one of which is blocking access, I have a couple of questions. I would appreciate a response to them as soon as possible.

1. What, in your opinion, is the best solution to the problem of the tree that's blocking access to my property (the one to the right of the main gate)?
2. If your advice is to remove it, how long would that take?

I look forward to hearing from you. Please note that if we choose to go ahead with removal, I would also appreciate an email letting me know as soon as it has been removed, leaving just the tree to the left of the gate.

Yours sincerely
