Suppose I want to describe "tea culture is an very important part in local society", how could I write an authentic sentence?

Could I write "Tea culture plays an important part in local society"?

Any good suggestions?

Thanks.

Do you meaning the growing, the tasting or the formal drinking of tea?

Sorry for not getting myself clear.

I want to make a sentence to express the meaning of "something is an important part in local society" in general. What will a native say to describe something, which is an important industry in local society?

Thanks!

Which one do you mean - that something is an important part of local society, or it's an important industry in local society? They are different.

it's an important industry in local society

hey,
mind that In English, 'an' is used with singular nouns starting with vowels....the letter 'v' in 'very' is consonant....
so 'a' is used here instead...!!

I think it could be as follows ' Tea drinking custom may/can be an important part of a domestic community'
or 'Tea drinking custom may/can play an important role in a domestic/local community'
or 'Tea drinking may/can be an important part of the history of a certain community'
your choice depends on what you're trying to say.... hope this helps !!

it's an important industry in local society

How about:

Tea production plays a very important role in local society.

(What do you mean by local society?)
