How to insert adj , adverb in the sensense

When do we write sentense it should be has Suject + Verb + object Right ? I would like to know when do we insert adj , adverb before or after verb ?

The position of some adverbs are flexible.
She quickly read the note.
She read the note quickly.
The read quickly the note. -- No

She listened carefully to the message.
She carefully listened to the message. -- a bit awkward
She listened to the message carefully.

I don't have a rule for you. I hope someone else does.

(Adjectives modify nouns, not verb. Often, they are found before the nouns they modify.)
