Travelling alone in a foreign country is difficult.
It isn't ................. travelling alone in a foreign country.
 
Are you sure the question is correct? I can't think of any way to paraphrase it with the gerund. Let's see what the native speakers say.
 
Yes, it's correct. I took it from the student's book.
 
The only thing that comes up to my mind is "It isn't easy to be travelling alone in a foreign country.", which souds kind of funny to me. :lol:

It isn't ................. travelling alone in a foreign country.

I have no problem with "It isn't easy travelling alone in a foreign country".

It's not easy being me.
It's not difficult eating too much cake.

It's certainly used in spoken BrE.
