How to monitor students' progress

Hello!

I am a fairly new teacher and I teach English online. Some of my students want to know how they are progressing and I really don't know what to tell them. My brain is busy with many things, like lesson planning and doing activities with the students, and for some reason I just can't seem to notice their progress. It's like my brain doesn't know how to do this. I feel very stressed. Can anyone help?
