Dear teachers and members,

in German we often start a diary entry with the words: "Heute war ein schöner Tag" = I (have) had a nice day today.

Are all translations below correct? That is, is it possible / idiomatic to use "Today" as a kind of subject here, as in a) ? And what tense do I use?

a) Today was a nice day
b) Today it was a nice day
c) It was a nice day today
d) It has been a nice day today

Thanks in advance
