As an English teacher, it's important that everything you write is correct. Remember to capitalise all proper nouns and that we refer to your variant as "American English" (AmE). We also use "BrE" (British English) and "AusE" (Australian English). Numbers from zero to twenty (inclusive) should always be written in words, not digits (with the obvious exceptions such as time and currency).
