I've got a letter to complete. It's a standard letter from holidays. It's embarrassing because it's from a workbook for beginners and I have no idea what to put there :/
I'd like to ask for your help.

It goes like this:

Greetings from Spain.
[details about my holidays]
Right now I'm drinking orange juice. I can't wait to show you some photos. What about you? How's the .......... ? What are you doing on holiday? Well, that's all for the time being.

Weather.

There is not much there, but I would rearrange some of it. I suspect that the photos are from your holiday. However, it sounds as if the photos are of you drinking orange juice.

Greetings from Spain.

I am sitting here drinking orange juice as I write this letter to you. [details about my holidays] I can't wait to show you some photos.

So, what about you? How are you doing on your holiday? How's the weather there? Tell me all about your trip. I hope you are taking a lot of photos to show me.

Well, that's all for the time being.

I've written my first reply before reading yours.
So "How's the weather" is OK.

Yes, it is fine, but so was your suggestion. English is a very rich language because the same thought can be expressed in many different ways.

It could be How's the hotel? or pretty much anything related to holidays.

It could be "How's the wife/family?" or pretty much anything unrelated to holidays too.

"How's the condition of your asthma, diabetes, heart disease, nervous breakdown, etc."

Not a teacher.

paternity lawsuit?
