Hello.

Is the word combination ''hunt-addicted'' correct or should it be ''hunting-addicted''?

For example, ''What do you think about hunting-addicted people?''

I have a strong dislike for both but it does depend on how you're going to use the words.

Be aware that they would carry different meanings—the former an addiction to hunts and the latter an addiction to hunting.

What expression would you use instead? I thought there is no difference between the two.

I don't like the attempt to turn it into an adjective. The natural way of saying it would be "What do you think of people who are addicted to hunting?"
