Does this mean a schedule or an oblication? "be supposed to" is sometimes confusing.

M: Okay. What does your purse look like?
W: It’s orange with a checkered pattern.
M: I see. I have one purse matching your description. What’s in the purse, ma’am?
W: Some cash, two credit cards, and even mypassport. I’m supposed to fly to Mexico tomorrow.

It's a planned event so a schedule. She has an airline booking to fly to Mexico so it's important she find her passport. It might have been an obligation too (her boss may have insisted that she fly to Mexico) but that is not stated in the piece.
