Does the sentence above mean this?
I didn't like it when he took all the credit.
 
Or
I don't like him taking all the credit.
 
... but that's changing the tense, Ted.
Oops, I didn't mean to change the tense, but to give an alternative:

I didn't like him taking all the credit.

I think this is more common. The original is rather formal.
