Are both okay here?
 
They are much better as two separate sentences. I would change "I do know that" to "I think" or "I believe". In fact, you could just start with "Your smile ...".
 
Your first sentence is incorrect. It is a run-on sentence known as a comma splice. I agree with ems's revision.
