What's the difference between the two following sentences?

  1. I don't have a problem going there.
  2. I don't have any problem going there.

Shouldn't the second sentence be "I don't have any problems going there."? I mean shouldn't "any" be used with plural ccouuntable nouns?

And one more question, is the follwing question grammatical?

"Do you have any problems going there?"

The two sentences have basically the same meaning.

any
can be used with singular nouns, too.

Hi, Which one would you prefer "I don't have any problem with him" or "I don't have any problems with him"

My preference would depend on the exact circumstances, but

I don't have a problem with him.

is the simplest way.
