I came across this sentence while reading a novel. According to me it should be

I feel like drinking tea
or I feel like having tea

But i am unable to understand the grammar of the sentence " I feel like tea"

"I feel like tea" simply leaves out the word 'drinking' or 'having'. That's called 'ellipsis'. It's common in English where the sense is understood.
