Hi,

What is the meaning of "I feel wronged by someone"? Thank you!

Hi,

What is the meaning of "I feel wronged by someone"? Thank you!

It means that someone did/said something that injured you emotionally.

I know the meaning of "wrong", but I'm not sure what the whole sentence means. Does it mean that people still think I am wrong even though I did not do anything wrong?

I assume you read the definitions:

wronged, wrong·ing, wrongs1. To treat unjustly or injuriously.
2. To discredit unjustly; malign.
3. To treat dishonorably; violate.

In your sentence, you feel that somebody wronged you. It does not imply that you were wrong or did anything wrong. Somebody treated you badly or unfairly.

No, "I feel wronged" does not mean that you feel that you have done wrong; or that others believe you have done wrong. It means that you feel that others have done the wrong thing to you.

I was referring to this entry on that page:
wronged(rɔŋd, rɒŋd)

adj.treated unfairly or unjustly.

wronged - definition of wronged by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

From this definition, "I feel wronged" means "I feel I have been treated unfairly or unjustly".

Thank you for all your help. How do I say in English when somebody believes I was wrong even though I did not do anything wrong?

I was unjustly accused of...

Can I say "You do me an injustice if you think I did that." ?
