Welcome to the forum.

Please note my changes above. I have changed "my first year" to "the first year" to avoid the repetition of "my". Remember to capitalise all proper nouns and to end every sentence with an appropriate punctuation mark.

Thank you emsr2d2 for your reply. Can you please explain why you removed doing?

Thank you, emsr2d2, for your reply. Can you please explain why you removed "doing"?

Note my punctuation corrections above.

I removed it in order to replace it with a better choice of word. "Doing" there sounded rather wishy-washy - dare I say it, almost childish. With years of education, we tend to use "in".

1. What did you notice?
2. What do you mean by "Sounds true". (By the way, that's not a complete sentence.)
