Someone asked me if I liked my old house (it's cheap and far away from downtown) and asked why I didn't sell it since most of my friends in childhood had already sold theirs. I said:

I have great memories about that; it was where I met my wife.

Is my italic sentence natural?

In that case, use "I have great memories of it; it's where I met my wife" or "I have great memories there; it's where I met my wife".

I'd say It's where I met my future wife.
