I missed the last-time bus

Last night I got together with some friends for dinner and the following conversation took place between my mom and me.

Mom: Where are you now? It's around 10. (I usually get home before 9:30 every evening.)
Silver: I'm on my way home.
Mom: At the subway station?
Silver: Yeah. I missed the last-time bus. (I was supposed to take the bus home but when I was there at the stop I found out that the final bus left. 9:45 was the final bus.)

Is my italic sentence okay?

No. We simply say "I missed the last bus!" (usually followed by some swearing!)
