Well, I went to school yesterday and I want to say to other people I planned it.
Is this correct?

I planned to go to school yesterday

I'd like to say this but it makes no sense:

I planned to went to school yesterday

Am I right or should I say the second one?

Or it might be this one:

I had planned to go to school yesterday

I am not a teacher.

Well, you're right. The second one makes no sense.

The problem with the other two is that using 'planned' like this makes it sound as though you didn't actually go to school after all.
