As with all your other threads on sentence patterns, the sentences with no article before 'customer' are always wrong.

Hi. Unnecessary.

Could you tell me your opinion of the correct sentence pattern of the verb provide? Please stop using this "opinion" question that you've used in most of your threads. Use the question below instead:

Are the following sentences correct?

1.
I provided to the customer the phone number.
2.
I provided to customer the phone number.
3.
I provided customer the phone number.
4.
I provided the customer the phone number.

Thanks for your sharing your knowledge!

Note my corrections above. There's no need for a greeting at the start of all your threads and no need to thank us in advance. If you give us multiple sentences to consider, please number them. Remember to end every sentence with a closing punctuation mark.

Maybe "provide" is British. I have only heard (and used) "I gave her my phone number" or "She gave me her phone number".

And it would be: I gave the customer my phone number? Or I gave to the customer my phone number?

@licmauriciogalvez - I have changed the thread title on almost all your threads. You don't seem to have noticed even though I've sent a message each time. Please stop using "Sentence pattern for ... "verb"" and use your first example sentence as the title.
